Beverly Hill (Shelley)

 

Beverly Hill (Shelley) is a native of Nashville, Tennessee but made her home in the Atlanta area in 1993.  She is a lyricist, published writer and author.  Beverly has been writing for Trendsetters to Trendsetters Magazine since 2011.

To her credit, she has interviewed Rodney Perry, Gerald Albright, Al B. Sure, Ted Mills (Blue Magic) and many others!  Beverly is president and founder of Hits on the Hill, a company that will focus on literary, performing and visual arts.  The goal will be to help, inspire, direct, and support those that are seeking to be connected with other like-minded artists.
     In the early 70’s, Beverly teamed up with Piedmont Records, working with the late Moses C. Dillard Jr., Jesse Boyce, Thomas Cain, Donna McElroy, and other artists.   During that time,s she penned the lyrics to “Streets Got My Lady” and “Just for the Moment”.  Most recently she wrote “Evergreen” and with co-writer, Robert Alred, she wrote “Unity, You Gave Me a Song”.  Joseph Wooten 3-time Grammy nominated artist and keyboardist for The Steve Miller Band since 1993, collaborated in arranging both songs.
     Beverly Hill Shelley’s goal is to use her talents to their fullest, to encourage and help others to fulfill their dreams . . . one dream at a time.
